Wild Lupines (Lupinus perennis) is a brightly colored wildflower and is often sold in nurseries for flower gardens. These hardy perennials prefer shaded to full sun in moderately dry, moderately poor sandy soil. Wild Lupines have a spike of bright blue flowers that appear in June through July. Plants grow to about two feet high. The flowers are very beneficial to butterflies (especially the endangered Karner Blue) and other insects. Looks great in flower gardens. It can take 3 to 4 seasons to mature under the best conditions. Prices are in U.S. currency and include shipping & handling fees. We will pay your Michigan sales tax!
