#WFS012 Wood Lily Seed
|
|
Wood Lily (Lilium philadelphicum) is a native wildflower that resembles the Easter Lily or garden variety lilies and is the floral emblem of Saskatchewan Canada. The conspicuous red-orange flowers bloom in July and are becoming increasingly rare due to flower picking. Prefers sandy well-drained humus-rich soils, in sunny openings and woodland edges, often along roadsides and in prairies. Seeds ripen in late summer and usually germinate in the fall. Store seeds moist in sealed refrigerated containers. Wood lilies are a food source for insects including butterflies, humming birds, deer and other woodland animals. Prices are in U.S. currency and include shipping & handling fees. We will pay your Michigan sales tax! We only ship inside the continental United States.
