Summer Education Tax Update
Due to a change in state law, PA 243 of 2002, all local units of government must collect the State Education Tax (SET) on a summer property tax bill. Summer property tax bills will be mailed to all property owners on July 1 and must be paid by September 14 to avoid interest penalties. In 2003, 5 mills will be collected on the summer bill and the winter bill in 2003 will no longer reflect this tax.

TOWNSHIP CLEAN-UP DAY
Annual Township clean-up day is tentative scheduled for the 2nd Saturday of May 2006. Check local paper for exact date and time.
